NRA Basic Pistol

This 8+ hour course will teach the new shooter the knowledge, skills, and attitude for the safe and proper handling of a handgun.  You will learn a wide range of topics including (but not limited to) the basic action types, ammunition, safe storage, laws regarding firearm ownership, and pistol cleaning.  When you take this class, you will get a chance to handle all modern manufactured firearms types (single action revolver, double action revolver, and semi-automatic pistol) so when you leave the course, you have a great education about what firearm you want to buy, how to shoot it safely, and how to store and maintain it. All the items necessary for a safe and fun experience are provided but feel free to bring your own firearm and ammunition that the training staff will evaluate for safety.
