What do you do if you find a firearm in your grandfathers attic?  Do you know how to safely unload it and render the it safe?  Instead of learning how to shoot a specific type of firearm, this 6 hour course will teach each student the knowledge, skill, and attitude for the safe and proper handling of a wide range of firearms, regardless of thier experience level.  You will learn a wide range of topics including (but not limited to) the basic firearm types, the basic action types, ammunition, safe storage, how to safely unload each type of firearm, and the laws regarding firearm ownership. This course is for everyone and is perfect for the family new to firearm ownership.  Bring your children and make sure they are educated properly about firearm safety in case they are the one to find the gun to find in grandpas attic.  All the items necessary for a safe and fun experience are provided but feel free to bring your own firearm and ammunition that the training staff will evaluate for safety.
